Shaping the look of a student magazine’s energy issue.
Layout Design / Social Media Design

The Brief
As a member of the graphic design collective for student-led Aah! Magazine, I contributed to the creation of the ‘Energy Issue’ by designing three spreads. Working alongside a team of editors, photographers, and illustrators, my focus was ontransforming the team’s visual and written content into well-structured layouts that effectively communicate the magazine’s creative vision and maintain reader engagement throughout the publication.
The Insight
The theme for this issue centered around Energy, exploring its many dimensions; from physical and mental vitality to social and environmental movements. The challenge was to reflect this broad and dynamic concept through engaging layouts that resonate with the diverse student audience. The Solution
Using bold typography and dynamic compositions, I organised the provided photographs, illustrations, and text into three cohesive spreads that express different facets of energy. Collaborating closely with editors and creatives ensured a unified narrative flow. The final designs were produced as a printed magazine, delivering a tangible, impactful experience for readers.
